As the parent of a student receiving music lessons, please note that I have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place. If your child needs to cancel a lesson, please submit a cancellation notice at least 24 hours in advance to receive a free make-up lesson credit. If your child cancels less than 24 hours before their scheduled lesson or misses a lesson without notifying me, you'll be billed for the full lesson and won't be awarded a free make-up lesson credit. Please also note that if your child is late to a lesson, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time and you'll still be billed for the full lesson.
I have this policy in place to ensure that your child is held accountable for their learning and to help them develop good habits for practicing and attending their lessons. It also helps me to provide the best teaching experience for your child and other students, and to ensure that everyone's time is respected.
I understand that unexpected situations may arise, so we can discuss exceptions on a case-by-case basis as needed :) Let's work together to ensure the best possible learning experience for all students!
As a private lessons teacher, I understand the importance of clear communication regarding payment terms. Upon lesson enrollment, a student will commit to taking lessons for the duration of the school year. To ensure that both the student/parent and teacher are on the same page, I kindly request that payment for the full amount of scheduled lessons be made prior to the start of each month. This payment policy allows me to effectively manage my time and resources, as well as provide the best possible instruction to my students.
I believe that when parents make a financial investment in their child's musical education, it creates a more positive and focused learning environment for the student. By paying for the lessons before they start, it also helps to maintain a consistent schedule and avoid any unnecessary delays or issues. I value my students' progress and am committed to providing quality instruction, and this payment policy helps me to do so. Thank you for your understanding and support.
I utilize the My Music Staff program as my main platform for scheduling lesson times, collecting payments, tracking student progress, and providing helpful resources catered to each individual based off their current progress through the curriculum.
I understand that private lessons can be a financial investment for families, and I am committed to making them as accessible as possible. If your family has financial need, I want you to know that there may be scholarship programs provided by your child's orchestra booster club. Scholarships like these are designed to help families who may not be able to afford private lessons, and I encourage families to look into them if they are in need of financial assistance. I am also very willing to discuss additional ways that I may be able to accommodate students if their school program is unable to provide financial services at the time your student enrolls for lessons.
In addition, I am always willing to work with families to find a payment plan that works for them and am open to discussing additional ways that I may be able to accommodate students if the school district is unable to provide financial services at the time your student enrolls for lessons.
I believe that every student deserves access to quality music instruction, and I am dedicated to making that a reality for all of my students. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the payment options described here.
